Millipore offers its BIOSCOT monoclonal antibodies in various forms from standarized intermediates, For Further Manufacturing Use (FFMU) or as finished reagents in bulk, labelled or unlabelled vials and even under full OEM arrangements.
The BIOSCOT FFMU series provides manufacturers with a wide range of standardized intermediate products. By dilution, blending (where appropriate) and chemical additions, manufacturers can create products with suitable reaction characteristics for their application(s). Most of the FFMU series of reagents are currently licensed with the US Food and Drug Administration Center for Biologics Research and Evaluation under shared manufacturing arrangements.
The BIOSCOT range of finished reagents is among the most potent to be found anywhere. They are made to comply with the European IVD Directive. Most are recommended for use by the slide, tube and microplate methods. A brochure on these is available on request. These products may not be available to customers in the US or Canada. Millipore has a deep reservoir of talent and particular expertise gathered over a twenty year period in the manufacture of monoclonal antibodies and fi nished blood typing reagents. This experience is now available to companies needing to produce antibodies for other diagnostic applications.
