Pure Type II Water

The production of pure water is indispensable in any laboratory. However, for most users, the production of pure water also involves high costs and extensive maintenance due to inefficient or outdated water purification systems. Furthermore, most water purification systems cannot guarantee the production of consistently-pure water quality.

Several Millipore water systems are designed to produce pure water (Type II) combining several purification technologies suitable for applications like buffer preparation; pH solution preparation and microbiological media preparation.

Low volume daily needs (< 10 L/day)

For laboratories that look for an alternative solution to individual stills and small deionization cartridges. RiOs-DI and Milli-DI are simple economical and easy to use products.

Standard laboratory daily needs (10 up to 200 L/day)

Millipore has developed Elix water purification systems as the ideal solution to meet each laboratory’s daily application needs for pure water. Elix systems are fed directly with potable tap water and combine complementary purification technologies in a compact system design that is easy to operate, reliable, and enables total control of the water produced at a low operating cost.

Large laboratory or laboratory building needs (up to 4,000 L/day)

Millipore provides a range of systems and the expertise throughout the entire large project to ensure that all components are designed and implemented according to strict guidelines – assuring users that the total water purification system will meet the expected performance levels.

Water Storage Devices

Most pure water solutions require a water storage device that is used as a buffer to answer high instant needs through out the day. Millipore has also developed a complete range of reservoirs that respect specific design rules to prevent water from degrading.
